In this site I'll try to give you as much information as I can regarding the
famous Yamaha HX Electone (organ) family.
This instrument was a small dream for me back in the late 80's when it was Yamaha's best
Electone around, and all Yamaha's organ competitions were performed on it.
Here in Israel the best electone one could find back then was the HS-8 and afterwards
the EL-90/86. But none of Yamaha's electones was even close to the HX design
and FM synthesis abilities.
I've started this site as a small beta version while copying most of its pictures from
the very good site of Mr. Jonathan E. Smith (URL here.) from which I've also learnt for the
first time what is the HX and how to buy a good one for a fair price, and make my dream come true - Thanks Jonathan.
